Are the courses really hilly?

We have made every effort to make the courses reasonable for all runners and have taken steep grades into consideration which has forced us to reroute, but yes there are hills on the course. The course is challenging but fair and has spectacular views. You will run through the towns of Lenox, Stockbridge, and Great Barrington passing the Norman Rockwell Museum, The Berkshire Botanical Gardens, The Red Lion Inn and Stockbridge Bowl before finishing inside the back gate of Tanglewood.
